KESI is committed to a thorough inspection of these machinery and equipment, which are used by the general public, in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations, in order to secure the safety of their passengers and users and to improve the quality of related apparatus and instruments.
- Installation Inspection :
- Conducted after installation in buildings and other mechanical structures (prior to the inspection of their completion).
- Regular Inspection :
- Conducted regularly (once a year) on elevators after the validity of their term of inspection has expired.
- Occasional Inspection :
- Conducted on a case-by-case basis applying to changes in usage, control mechanism, speed, capacity, and round-trip running distance. Also conducted in case of repairs due to problems or accidents
- Installation Inspection :
- Conducted after installation and prior to use.
- Regular Inspection :
- Conducted periodically (once every two years) on systems after the validity of their term of inspection has expired.
